Umuada Igbo Atlanta inauguration-induction took place on November 5 2011, at the Igbo Community center in Atlanta. The chapter President is Mrs. Nneka Eto; and the members of the chapter were inducted by the group's Nigeria-based founder Lolo Kate Ezeofor.
Chairman of the event was Comrade Chris Akomas. The keynote speaker Dr. Nkechi Azie made a case for not merely cursing the darkness but making a real difference.
Houston-based national Patron of the group Lolo BB Akazie was given the additional title of Grand Patron.
